"at once" can also mean "simultaneously" （大家一起來）(e.g., http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/at%20once).

以前在台灣，半導體（semi-conductor）習慣念“色米－肯大可特”。來東岸，我附近的人都念“色賣－肯大可特”。“either“，這個字，很多人都念”愛怎兒“。”route”大家都念“入特” （還沒聽人念“繞特”過）。
