Result is quite better in terms of SQ (better transparency, expand sound image and quickness improved), but the boot is really slow: i have to wait aprox. 3 minutes before the player appear in ipeng. I think there is many drivers' errors with this kernel, nothing critical because all works correctly afterward.

After first comparisons, with this low latency kernel on my goldmund setup, snakoilOS 1.2.2 outperformed innuOS 1.4.7! And this is just the beginning of optimization. Well done guy!

另外把那個 Kona Linux High Quality Sound System 的 .deb 檔案打開就可以得到 data.tar 壓縮檔，內含不少 shell scripts，小弟沒有估計錯誤的話該可以把它們加入 piCorePlayer 的 User commands 那邊，因此只要透過更改 MTU 或 timeslice 就達到提高音質的效果，並不需要使用作者提供的 GUI。

有關 GaN 電源的短片，小弟覺得真的十分有趣，那個 mains noise analyser 的數值好像是由 710 暴跌至 254→129→91 的說，就是不知道是否故弄玄虛呢？哈哈：

首先探討一下 GaN 電源的 ripple 數值，這邊有不少評測：

暫時找到兩個比較優秀的 65W 產品，飛利浦的『摩天輪』 比較特別，附帶 1.5 米的電源線，但是 IEC 插頭就只有英規 13A 或者國標的說，因此需要加轉換頭或者乾脆把 IEC 插頭砍掉後再換上比較高級一點的。

同一系列的產品看起來都是差不多，因此請注意 2316G 才是正確的型號，不要買錯了 18W 的版本，或者其他並非 GaN 的舊產品：

大幅降低 ripple 數值的方法之一是利用 LT3042 或者 LT3045 這種穩壓的 LDOs，但是必須把 GaN 電源的電壓提高一點，假設器材是吃 5V 的話，電源的電壓就必須調節到 7V，然後 LT3045 把 7V 減去 2V 就會把電壓降低 5V 輸出了。

電壓的差距越大，產生的熱量就越多，因此 2V 左右的差距該是一個平衡點。

We've fthen further tested with separate rails using the ATX only and compared to using separate rails for ATX + 12V input. The result is the same, adding both ATX and 12V results is clearly superior sound with this board.

大部分的 GaN 電源也提供多於一個輸出，因此 65W 甚至 100W 以上的那些型號就一試無妨，效果理想的話還可以嘗試分開兩個獨立 GaN 電源同時供電給予同一樹莓派。
