剛剛拆開看了Kanex pro的晶片，用的是Explore EP91A1K這顆HDMI repeater。
這顆晶片的datasheet有說明:

3.2 Audio OutputAudio data is extracted and decoded from the HDMI RX. The conventional SD/HD Audio and 2 channelOne Bit Audio are supported. The decoded audio data is buffered in an on-chip FIFO. An on-chip PLL isused to regenerate audio clock from the HDMI TMDS clock under the control of HDMI source. Digitalaudio signals in IIS, SPDIF or DSD format are generated based on this regenerated audio clock.

所以音頻訊號處理有經過FIFO buffer，時脈是用訊源的HDMI clock經過PLL來的。
不過datasheet又提到可以接受18.432MHz的外部時脈.. 所以實際上要怎麼做，得邊改邊嘗試才行。

不知道能不能找到台灣買得到，又使用Explore EP91A1K晶片的HDMI to SPDIF..
