S5和M5擴大機延續了BSC-60和BSC-100M A類擴大機的成功。這兩款新的擴大機重新定義了標準，成為新的參考系列擴大機。

關於S5，是一部A類放大的立體聲擴大機。單邊在8歐姆的情況下提供80W的推力，建構在1,450 VA的環形變壓器和每聲道超過54,000微法的濾波電容上。
設計上採用雙單聲道設計，由兩個獨立電路和隔離輸出建構。內部有兩個散熱器做冷卻。並且可以切換成約38W的A/B類輸出做低功耗輸出。

關於M5，他不只是更大推力的單聲道擴大機，也擁有更佳的能力。同樣的1,450環形變壓器但配合超過108,000微法的濾波電容。在8歐姆的條件下輸出功率為140W，1歐姆時更可連續輸出1,120W。
M5擁有兩個重新設計過的超安靜環形變壓器，耦合一個高電流和兩個穩壓電源供應器。第二個變壓器被設計用在較低層次的電路上。M5的線路路徑簡短並經過優化。所有組件都通過軍用標準。
為了排散A類140W擴大時產生的熱量，內部安裝四個散熱器來冷卻輸出裝置。使用者也可切換成63W的A/B類輸出模式達到低耗能的方式。
