我没用过firewire. 一向用RCA or optical SPDIF. 要用firewire也不是个问题。

你是用 PC or Mac? 哪一个player software? 有比较过SACD and dsd native 的声音吗？

Why did you choose Meitner over Mytek?
I use a Mac Mini Server with Windows 7, player is J.River.
I do think SACD player, I have Esoteric UX3-pi, and DSD DAC will show more differences than similarities, because they are too different. Just see which way you prefer, a physical touch to take a SACD disc out of a case elegantly or a swipe on the ipod to make the music rock.

Meitner and Mytek are different in price, function, and sound character, etc. I use them in different systems.
