Decca/London,坦白說,我有一顆3支腳的,但卻從未聽過.
這顆3支腳的問題,在於接線時極不方便,所以入手後就一直躺在防潮箱裡.
我記得年輕時,音樂與音響裡的老前輩們都極為推崇Decca/London,
除了他是真正的無針桿的鼻祖之外,應該是極為好聽才是.
前些日子,這無聊的小高就神秘兮兮的告訴我要進口Decca/London,而且還是4支腳的Reference.
哈,當然要4支腳的,3支腳的你就留著自己慢慢玩吧!!
明天,大工程就要施工了.
乘著今天還要空閒,拿出來照個相,改天再和Reed的3Q接起來聽.

Congrats 將軍 on your latest cartridge acquisition.
A good friend of mine has this London Reference for over a year now. He explained to me that it is probably the hardest cartridge to dial-in due to no cantilever - tip is hidden directly under the cartridge shell where you can barely see. And if the cartridge is not adjust properly, it will pick up quite a bit of vinyl surface noise - even with the brand new record.
When the cartridge is finally aligned(with high power magnifier and ear), it presents a totally different sound than anything I've heard. Direct, dynamic yet detail presentation. The overall sound signature however lean a tad towards hard & bright. But I guess that has to do with the matching of tonearm, turntable, phono cables, phono stage and its loading choices.
Please review the sound when your system is setup.
