 Do you need anechoic chamber for designing a speaker?
The answer is a big fat No.
For speaker design, having an anechoic room is the least important factor. You can achieve high precision without an anechoic room.

Some people would say one has to know the limit of non-anechoic room. In reality and practice, one has to know the limitation of using an anechoic room.
