既然提到Deep Purple，那就不能不提一下Richie Blackmore的新團 Blackmore's Night。很多人一定會很奇怪一個hard rock的前驅怎麼會搞起類似中世紀的民謠起來？其實如果您聽過16th Century Greensleeves還有Long Live Rock and Roll 裡的一些個（Lady of the Lake，The Gate of Babylon，等等），您會發現其實Blackmore一直對這些中世紀的題材很有興趣。
