The Paris analog record player …
Designing an analog record player is no simple task … re-designing the Paris after developping the 30th anniversary of the Delphi MK VI was an extremely challenging venture !
The complexity of this exercise lies in the ability to integrate simplicity and accuracy.
A record player is a mechanical device capable of delivering an outstanding performance level only “IF” each and every of its components and mechanisms interact as a system in total harmony. The Paris turntable has been designed with all the above clearly and very well understood !
Although very different from the Delphi MK VI, the Paris meets in every aspects all the critical issues we had to address with the Delphi MK VI.
o Ajustable feet made of Delrin
o The main bearing system uses the same Peek material as for the Delphi
o The semi floating suspension system uses Sorbothane
o The platter is made of acrylic
o The record clamp is made of Delrin and it is simply the best there is !
The Paris has been very elegantly dressed in a low reasonnance medium density fiber to maximize the vibration rejection. The suspension system design has been developped to reproduce a similar result than the MK VI Micro Vibration Sabilizer System.
The Paris is a very unique and high performance player that will deliver a truly outstanding act, a life like and totally involving analog music reproduction.
