根據MSB總裁Larry的描述,只要你敢用,這個瘋狂想法設計出來的時鐘絕對會讓您驚豔,表現是全面大幅提升,音樂更真實了!
We have had an effort going since the DAC IV came out to do something pretty amazing with the DAC Clock. As we continued to improve our prototypes the results convinced us that an all out effort to make the best clock in the world would pay off.
Well, the FemtoSecond Galaxy Clock is here and ready to ship. We will be demonstrating it at the Rocky Mountain Audio Fest later this week and I will be taking it to shows in Australia and China the week after. A Diamond DAC IV with the new clock is being sent to Stereophile for review this week.
The clock technology is crazy. To protect our discovery we are going to say very little about the details, but the performance speaks for itself. The clock is packaged in an actual space shuttle tile! We did not hold back at all with this clock. It is far better than any external clock, especially because it plugs in extremely close to the DAC modules themselves. Clock Jitter is 97 femtoseconds! That is 0.097 picoseconds. WOW!
The contribution of the clock to sound can best be described as bringing a realism to the sound I have never heard before. You can read more about this on the web site.
The clock can be plugged into all DAC IVs of any age or model (Platinum, Signature and Diamond) with no changes to firmware or hardware. Plug it in and add one screw.
The effect is most shocking in the Diamond, as you will hear things you have never heard before!
I am sorry for the high cost ($9950. retail) but making such a clock is very expensive. The upgrade may not make sense on a Platinum DAC, but I think it will be very viable in Signature and Diamond. It can of coarse be moved when the customer upgrades the DAC, just like the Powerbase. I am very confident about this upgrade. If you do not agree with me about the amazing sound of this clock, send it back without scratches and I will give you a full credit! This is an upgrade you must try!
We have clocks in stock.
