Gryphon推出最新DAC "Kalliope"





距離Gryphon首次推出DAC以來，已經過了許多變革和創新，這次推出的Gryphon Kalliope透過USB傳輸PCM檔案最高達32bit/384kHz，DSD可達6.144MHz，並可以非同步取樣轉換將PCM升頻至32bit/210kHz，每個聲道皆配置獨立的ESS SABRE ES9018 32bit DAC解碼系統，每一組ES9018皆在Dual Differential coupling拓樸結構下配置8個獨立的DAC轉換器，並具有獨立穩壓電源，可以達到完美的聲道分離度，極大提高了外部噪聲抑制和增強動態範圍。

Gryphon Kalliope使用優異設計理念，包含雙單聲道結構，最短的內部佈線，完全隔離的類比、數位和控制/顯示電路，其間並具排他性，特製的精密晶體震盪器和環形變壓器。

為確保大能量和純淨的電源可以供應各個部分，數位和類比的變壓器繞組是分離的，使用四層的印刷電路板並採用70mm的銅電路，確保最佳接地、電源分布和訊號傳輸。

為獲得最大的控制和穩定性，Gryphon Kalliope在每個類比聲道採用特製的65VA環形變壓器和34,000 microFarad的電容組。

數位訊號並非是簡單的一排數字，他需要所有的數字都以正確的順序出現，他是一個隨時間經過而出現的一串數字，如果無法做到這點，就如同打錯電話一樣糟糕。

Gryphon Kalliope使用先進的電路拓樸結構和特製的組件，確保有效校正和預防時基的錯誤。

當訊號從數位轉換為類比時，類比濾波器是必需使用的，用來消除高頻噪聲。傳統濾波器有一些副作用，包含能量損失、對解析度的損害和降低透明度。

Gryphon Kalliope使用先進的技術和創新，透過簡約的單組件濾波器將影響降至最低。

DSD

Gryphon Kalliope除了可以支援PCM訊號至32bit/384kHz，DSD也是完全支援的。不同於主流的PCM(Pulse Code Modulation)用於CD、WAV等檔案，DSD採用Pulse Density Modulation，可高達6.144MHz的取樣頻率。

DSD基本上是SACD的核心，雖然目前SACD並不受到重視，但是DSD依然是目前可以提供給消費者下載的檔案中取樣頻率最高的。

CONTROL

為了方便和直觀的易用性，Gryphon Kalliope的功能都可透過遙控器或面板上的觸控按鈕控制，當用於PCM播放時，快或慢的線性相位數位濾波器是可以選擇的。透過USB讀取DSD檔案，有50、60和70Hz的IIR數位滾降濾波器可選擇。

Gryphon Kalliope有一個相位變換器，如果因為一些音源、擴大機或是唱片反轉了訊號的相位，可以讓使用者透過Gryphon Kalliope來更改這個錯誤。

連接上，Gryphon Kalliope有三個75歐姆的BNC和一個110歐姆的XLR數位輸入、還有一個110歐姆的XLR數位輸出，讓使用者可輸出去抖動的訊號至其他設備。Gryphon Kalliope不使用S/PDIF連接端，因為BNC才能保證是真正的75歐姆阻抗，做到最佳的數據傳輸途徑。

對於日益流行的電腦音源，Gryphon Kalliope使用非同步的電器隔離USB輸入，能夠傳輸達32bit/384kHz的數據。雖說可以透過75歐姆的BNC連結連接外部時鐘。但Gryphon Kalliope內部的獨立、特製、溫度補償晶體震盪器，精度高於百萬分之5的時鐘電路已可以有效消除所有振動和誤差。
