Q: How do I use use an Airplay Device (Airport Express, Apple TV, etc.) with Amarra?
A: Using Rogue Amoeba's AirFoil software application you can route Amarra to your Airplay Device. - Ensure Audio Midi Setup is set to use Built in Input and Built in Output for sound input and output respectively.
- Download and install Airfoil from http://www.rogueamoeba.com/airfoil/
- Ensure Amarra and iTunes are both quit
- Launch Airfoil
- In the top part of the window, set the Transmit application to Amarra
- In the bottom part of the window, click on the music note for the device you want to listen through.
You should see Airfoil launch Amarra which will launch iTunes. Choose tracks from your iTunes library or an Amarra Playlist (44k tracks) and you should see the meters in Airfoil startup and you should here your music playing through your Airplay Device to your speakers.
