原本CRM系列的似乎都不見了, 取而代之的是"Elegance"系列, 但是價錢我想也是不便宜吧!!應該是會更高價的.....KHARMA的路, 越來越遙遠了~~

The new Kharma Exquisite Midi is designed and built without compromise. Every part of this speaker, from the extreme dense HPL-plates to the smallest details has a function in the complex process of creating ultra high-end sound. The advanced Diamond dome technology used in the Exquisite Collection emphasizes this incredible attention to detail even more. Furthermore the uncompromised design also resulted in the beauty of the Exquisite Midi, which is for example shown by the gold-plated sidetrimming or the new high-gloss Macassar panels.


Stand

Mechanical residual vibrations of the cabinet are terminated by the Spike Disk Suspension System (SDSS) by minimising the contact area between the cabinet and the floor. The SDSS stand also provides a fixed and levelled orientation for the cabinet drivers, because each spike can be adjusted individually in the vertical direction.

Drivers

· High-frequency: 1 x 1-inch Diamond concave tweeter
· Mid-frequency: 1 x 7-inch Black label driver
· Low-frequency: 2 x 8-inch Nomex-Kevlar driver

The musicality you may expect from the Exquisite Midi is for an important part created by the drivers, which can be seen as the engine of the loudspeaker. The quality of the driver is therefore crucial to compete with reality.

Diamond concave tweeter

Without a doubt the quality is guaranteed by using a Diamond tweeter as a standard in the Exquisite Collection. These high-frequency drivers are true technological wonders. The tweeters have a diamond cone which have been realised by the so called CVD process. With this process incredible stiffness is reached with a minimum of thickness of only 50 μm. Notice a human hair is in the range of 17 to 180 μm. The cone is the most essential part of the tweeter and because this cone is made of Diamond the tweeter is capable to create impressively pure high frequencies.

Black Label driver

The midrange driver, Kharma’s so called Black label driver, is an improved version of the long used Ceramique driver. These drivers are free from any cone-born resonances in the whole used frequency range and they have been optimized carefully by lasercutted patterns as to push up these resonances to frequencies beyond the used frequency range.

Nomex-Kevlar driver

The two woofers have 8 inch sandwich-honeycomb-Kevlar cones which also again are completely free from structure born resonances in the used frequency range.

Exquisite Reference Mono Power Amplifier MP1000

This version of the MP1000 Series is marking the reference in the MP1000 Series, where all features have to be heard to be believed and are summarized as follows:

· Elaborate protection + software controlled soft start

Besides, this model has standard a beautiful frontpanel with Kharma trapeziums and a black anodized aluminium cabinet.

Exquisite Signature Mono Power Amplifier MP1000

The Signature MP1000 Amplifier is a special version of the MP1000 Reference, where both technical as visual the Mono Power Amplifier is upgraded.

The MP1000 Signature amplifier does not only have all the nice features the MP1000 Reference has, but also has additional very special features:
· Double Silver transformer
· Mono-Atomic Silver internal wiring
· Diamond-Tunqsten SDSS-stand
· Luxury frontpanel design

Besides, there is the option to execute the MP1000 Signature in blank anodized aluminium instead of black anodized aluminium. Moreover some different frontpanels will be available, where the MP1000 Signature standard already has a very special wood-inlay Kharma design frontpanel.

As for all products from the Exquisite Collection there is the possibility to enter the Privileges Program for the amplifiers of the MP1000 Series.

Features

The Exquisite Mono Power Amplifiers from the MP1000 Series all have unique class A / AB Kharma proprietary circuitry. That the Exquisite MP1000 is designed with an incredible attention to detail, is amongst others stressed by the ultra high grade power supply, double transformers and silver/gold internal wiring. The internal wiring of this power amplifier, which has the same high quality as used in the entire Exquisite Collection, combined with external cabling to the Exquisite loudspeakers results for this reason in a sonic match throughout the whole ultra high-end audio set.

The Exquisite MP1000 is equipped with double special audio transformers designed by Kharma to purify the sound of this amplifier. Moreover the amplifier has a copper case attached to the solid body. The copper case leads to shielding against residual radiation that can originate from the end of the external power cable. As a result the interference between the external power cable and the amplifier is minimized. Hence the amplifiers in the MP1000 Series are equipped with an elaborated protection. Besides the amplifiers have a software controlled soft start.

Features

The Exquisite preamp Series is equipped with hand wired discrete point to point wiring made of our finest solid core silver-gold alloy, which is treated with proprietary Kharma techniques. During auditions it was established that no circuit board is able to reveal the depth of the sound space the way discretely wired components do.
The volume control of the Exquisite P1000 preamplifiers are also a zero compromise state of the art design with “naked” Z-foil resistors in a discretely switched shunt attenuator that is again fully wired with Kharma pure silver-gold wiring. Furthermore, the source control is of course also a completely discrete circuit, wired point to point, no circuit boards, just pure silver-gold Kharma wiring to ensure the elimination of any
compromise in the signal path. As a result the audio circuit as a whole is extremely pure and on top of that, it is powered by an incredibly clean power supply that prohibits any outside interference affecting the signal path. This is illustrated by the properties of the power supply which has such a long RC-time that it takes about one hour to fill the capacitors to their maximum potential.
The result has to be heard with extreme quality loudspeakers to fully unveil the inner quality of this preamp. For the volume setting to be remotely adjusted, we have designed a sophisticated two-way RF remote control unit. This allows real-time updates of the volume setting to the RC unit over a considerable distance, which enhances usability. Hence the sophisticated remote controls the motorized discrete stepped attenuator in an optimal way.
