1)
The cartride is the Lyra "Clavis" re-tipped by "Soundsmith" with the cost of US$250. You could refer to their web-site:
http://www.sound-smith.com/retip/. This clavis was a 10 years old model and has broken the contilever that's why I asked Soundsmith to re-tip* it (with ruby contilever and nude contact line diamond styli), and because the cover was removable due to no correct screw, so I make it "naked" which you can not tell the brand and the model from the picture. The result is quite good and you could remember that its tracking ability is really good,
even much better than Clavis "Skala" from the A/B test of playing the last track of side 1 of "Horowitz in Moscow".
2) Someone has answered for me -
it is Goldmund 29.4 and I still kept VTL 300 Mono for the major reason of my good memory with it for years, maybe I will play it again someday. I still prefer the performance of high frequencies of VTL.
3) I may post something or my explanation if there are questions I have to reply.
* I have to take this opportunity to thank Hsindou for arranging and delivering Clavis to Soundsmith for me.
Best regards,
Jett
