從你提供的圖片來看你應該是安裝sam兄提供的Noel原始版本。
你圖片中的Output setting欄位只有hw:，這裡應該是有問題的部分。

正常應該像我圖片中點開Output setting設定的more，在右邊會列出偵測到的USB Audio裝置。
然後用滑鼠直接點選右邊hw:名稱開頭的裝置，就會將hw:名稱開頭的裝置自動代入左邊欄位。
另外因為不同的USB Audio裝置出現的名稱不一定會相同，所以如果你的hw:後的裝置名稱跟我的圖片不一樣也是正常的。
首先感謝 Sam 跟 樓主兩位, 調過的版本的確比沒調的好.
我測試用的是 11/15 的 piCorePlayer6.1.0-xenomai_lite 版本, 一直都有耐唔耐跟 player 失聯的情況, 會失去顯示, 也有跳歌的情況.
剛開始時以為是過熱, 加風扇溫度降至 40度以下, 好似有點改善, 不過失聯的情況還是會發生, 之後再在 Squeezelite Setting 指定 LMS IP 好似好了一點, 失去顯示的情況差不多沒有了, 但跳歌的情況還是偶有出現. (用原版沒有這些問題).
有留意播放 DSD 的時侯出現問題的機會較高, 不過都已在 LMS Server (Daphile @PC) 那邊轉成 PCM, 對 player 沒什麼負擔 (檢查 cpu load 也是很低, 大概沒超過 3%) ....
留意到用調過的版本系統可用的記憶體大概接近 3GB, 用原版系統可用的記憶體大概接近 4GB, 是刻意的嗎?
另外行 sudo vcgencmd get_config sdram_freq 總是出 VCHI initialization failed
似乎 kernel 有不配版本問題...?
有失聯的朋友也可試試在 Squeezelite Setting 指定 LMS IP

可能是小弟DAC太舊，印象中您有提只要 hw:就可以，最後還是不能播，改Sam大的70560就可以播了，就不想改了

我的 LMS 是掛在synlology上面，用 CIFS 檔案服務，音樂放在 NAS，除了 NFS 版本外，各種版本都測過都沒問題，我最喜歡 Noel版本，謝謝 sam 兄分享。
- 以我的系統，若 synlology 改用 NFS 檔案服務，是否就等同使用 NFS 版本。而不須用第二顆樹莓派安裝 NFS 當 LMS 服務器，這樣聲音是否有差異(與用第二顆樹莓派安裝 LMS)。
- 若第二顆樹莓派安裝 NFS 版本來服務 LMS，LMS 安裝在 PC 或 NB …，這是為了沒 NAS 而做的版本嗎？

安裝在synlology的NAS上的LMS改用NFS協定來存取NAS上的音樂檔的話，理論上應該也是能夠享受到NFS所帶來生因提升的好處。
另外雖然我沒比較過NAS上的LMS跟樹莓派LMS的聲音差異，但是我認為樹莓派的LMS的聲音應該是會比NAS上的LMS來得好。
因為NAS除了LMS之外背景還跑了相當多的其他服務，就我的觀點來看系統工作負擔越低噪訊也會越低相對的聲音也會越乾淨。

這個有點兒以下犯上，絕對不能夠於另一討論串出現，大概就是說兩台樹莓派同時跑 Audio over Ether 的結果是聲音方面完勝 Windows 的 JPLAY FEMTO 和 Bughead 云云，即使是非常便宜的 DAC HAT 也得到軟件的眷顧：然後 Roon 加上 β10 版本的 AoE 也成功了：引用:

sqeezeliteについての報告ですが、β12はi2sの信号のインジケータが高速点滅して音が出ず、β12.1では途切れ途切れの再生でしたが、β12.2で再び通常の再生が可能になりました。

由於小弟的 ThinkPad 不能安裝任何 PCIe 卡，因此無法測試 Mellanox 的 InfiniBand 網卡，只好留待各位大大的求證了。
當然最重要的問題就是，幹嘛把大部分由樹莓派負責的工作『外判』給另外兩台 Windows PC 呢？首先 ARM64 版本的 Linux 無法跑 MinorityClean，而且樹莓派 4 的 BCM2711 也不支援必要的 SSE2 指令集，剛巧 Windows 的 kernel timer frequency 也不可能（閉源的軟件絕不公開 source code）被改為 44.1 KHz，那麼最終的方案就是 Windows 與 Linux 兩者互補長短了。
此外還有另一重點，就是 I2S 對雜訊比較敏感：引用:

小弟是絕對讚同 sam0402 兄的想法，USB OTG 實在不容忽視，而且 Player 端只需擔任唯一的角色，僅僅是 USB 音效卡的它就能夠跑一個『超級纖瘦』版本的 Linux 了，任何跟無線／有線網路相關的部分也可以砍掉，去除很多軟件與及它們的 dependencies 之後就成為一種脫胎換骨的 OS 了。引用:

其實小弟心中也正盤算著一記問題，到底該花時間鑽研 Netmap 和 Audio over Ether 那種 Kernel-bypass Networking／Direct Memory Access 的方式，還是集中火力優化體積纖巧的離線 Linux 比較好呢？前者的隱憂就是如何跟 44.1 KHz kernel timer frequency 並存，畢竟 sam0402 兄 compiled kernel 的時候已經遇上一定數量涉及 networking 方面的 warnings。
如果需要花那麼多時間去 debug 的話，倒不如專攻 OS 層面的優化那麼划算。減肥成功以後，還可以研究怎樣進一步精簡 kernel 等等，畢竟 headless + 離線的 OS 就可以省去很多 drivers 了。

在Lite版之後的版本，小弟去除很多與播放無關的Driver 和 Network Filter 功能，compile時已經沒有什麼warnings。

至於USB ip，小弟還得重新compile 才能補上這個功能，不過RPi4要改供電方式才能用。
所以小弟會先測試OTG模式，把RPi4當成音效卡看看。

當然最重要的就是如何利用 RPi4 的 RAM 來建立緩衝，該不是用 alsa-utils 的 arecord 寫入 RAM disk 那麼簡單吧？

PhilippeさんはXenomaiのarm/arm64向けパッチの大半をコミットしてきた方で、メーリングリストで"今後はEVLに注力する"と発言されてらっしゃいました。
XenomaiカーネルではPi4でUSB利用時にハングアップする現象を回避することができませんでしたが、EVLではカーネルにパッチを当てることでUSBも動作するようになりました。（あくまで応急処置に過ぎず、安定動作とまではいきませんが、、、外付けSSDが実用レベルになりましたので開発が捗ります）
年末年始に、aplay-rt/rtalsa/xsinkをEVLに移植する作業に取り掛かりたいと思います。
RPi4版のスペックは
- Linuxカーネル 5.x系を採用
- リアルタイムカーネルにEVLを採用
- カーネル/アプリケーションは全て64bitでビルド
- RPi4専用のビルドオプションを使用
- コンパイラにgcc9.2 (またはgcc10)を採用

The initial port of the Cobalt core to Dovetail/x86 is available from [1]. Ports to Dovetail/ARM and Dovetail/arm64 should follow within a couple of weeks.
So far, latency and switchtest run flawlessly. Most of the smokey test suite passes successfully, except the GDB test at the moment.
How to test this:
- clone Xenomai from [1], switch to branch for-upstream/dovetail
- clone the Dovetail tree (v5.10) from [2], switch to branch dovetail/master
- run scripts/prepare-kernel.sh available from [1] into [2] (usual procedure) for x86, that would be: .../scripts/prepare-kernel.sh --arch=x86
- build your kernel using the sources from [2]
There is no user-visible Kconfig change compared to an I-pipe based version.
Alternatively, the Xenomai code base in [1] can also run on top of the I-pipe. prepare-kernel.sh detects which pipeline flavour is there, and prepares the source tree accordingly.
This code is being gradually merged into Xenomai's -next branch, and will be at the core of Xenomai 3.2. Testing and feedback appreciated.
