這個品牌的擴大機，以前的太孚（非鈦孚）代理過，功率不大，機殼都用壓克力，據說可以防止…什麼的（忘記了）(nerd)，蠻特殊的設計。引用:

Glastonbury Tor
Housed in a welded steel shell that is lined with Herculite, the Glastonbury Tor loudspeakers offer what we – and numerous reviewers – think is the closest yet approach to the holy grail of high fidelity music reproduction – a natural, unforced and convincing rendition of the sounds played through them.
The sound has a lifelike stature, whether it is a single performer strumming a guitar, or the epic scale of a full orchestra playing Beethoven providing a sound that is convincing in its size, imaging and musicality.
The sound is focussed, effortless and realistic. The listener will find themselves aware of aspects of the music that are usually hidden by the lower definition levels obtained from most other designs. Whether it is the action of a guitarists fingers on the strings, or the tiny detailing of a singer’s breathing in-between words, all will be laid out for your perusal and enjoyment. These micro-details are the bits that distinguish “real” sound from recorded sound. Here, at Townshend Audio we believe that we have narrowed that gap by creating a loudspeaker that is all but sonically invisible.
