Ayre QA-9 A/D Converter
It looks like the best-selling QB-9 USB D/A converter until you notice the level meters and the level control next to the display. This is Ayre's new QA-9 A/D converter, aimed at audiophiles who want to rip their LPs with the highest possible quality. The analog input is balanced and there are both USB and AES/EBU digital outputs.
The ADC chip is fed by an input stage featuring Ayre's zero-feedback, discrete circuitry and it will output 24-bit LPCM at up to a 192kHz sample rate. However, there's no reason why it couldn't also output DSD data. The QA-9 will be in production in the first quarter of 2012 and while price is not yet decided, it will be somewhere between the QB-9's price and $5000.

價格若是QB-9的一倍半也算合理。
終於可以不用望著BURMESTER那台超級AD大嘆遙不可及了
所以可能會是 USD 4000 左右, 不算便宜
我目前用的 A/D Converter 是 Lynx L22 A/D + D/A, 算是非常 High End 的 PC Soundcard.
錄音的軟體是 Samplitude 10.4, 正在考慮要不要升級到最新的 Samplitude 12 (Pro X)
從二月到現在轉錄了超過 1000 張 LP, 24-bit 96KHz, 效果相當好.
D/A Converter 是 Ayre QB-9, 撥放電腦是 2010 版的 Apple Mac Mini, 撥放軟體是 iTune
加 BitPerfect 或 Pure Music. 雖然沒有長時間仔細比較 (因為大部份時間都在轉錄),
從 QB-9 撥放的聲音跟 LP 撥放, 相差真的不大. 我覺得不 A/B 的話 Blind Test 我恐怕分辨不出來.
我覺得轉錄 LP 除了存檔保護之外, 還有一些好處, 比如
- 不會磨損或弄壞唱片跟唱頭
- 有時候可以選擇輕鬆聽音樂, 不必洗唱片 翻面 弄東弄西
- 不會想聽的唱片找好幾天, 甚至幾個禮拜找不到, 當然這跟個人收放整理的習慣有關, 我很糟
- 當背景音樂撥放, 音質好到讓人感動 (老是覺得怎麼比 FM 好聽這麼多, 那當然, 很搞笑)
還可以用 iTune 作 Playlist 或各種程式播放. 最屌的是透過 iPhone 或 iPad 遙控, 不得不佩服

- 帶到辦公室聽或旅行帶著聽, 搭配輕便的 DAC 如 Bladelius USB DAC,
也許再加匹配的耳機耳擴走到哪都有好聲音
- 帶到燒友家或音響店 PK, 不會少帶哪一張唱片, 也不怕別人沒有 LP 唱盤.
錄得夠好的話, 作 Critical Listening 不是問題. 加上 Bladelius USB DAC
連音源品質都控管了
當然還是有些時候一定要放 LP 才過癮, 那一點都不衝突, 多了一個玩具, 只有燒更大而已.
