Sperling Turntable from Germany with Ikeda arm and cartridge being set up with much attention to detail in my audio room for an upcoming shoot out with a number of formidable competitions such as Clearaudio Statement and TWA from Germany, and Linn LP 12 and SME 30/2 from United Kingdom. Tone arms involved are Clearaudio Statement Linear Tracker, Breuer, Graham Phantom, and Graham 2.2. Phono stages TWA Raven, Vitus Signature Phono stage and SoundSmith Strain Gauge system. Cartridges are ZYX Omega Gold, ZYX 4D Gold and Transfiguration Temper W. Initial listening show that the Sperling Turntable has a jet black background which is so low in noise that you can literally see the instrumentation in any musical presentation. More to come...enjoy
I've witnessed these type of shootouts many times before(most recently at RMAF in Colorado with Durand vs. Graham vs. Schroeder), and the result is always highly suspect.引用:

How can one conduct such a shootout when all the equipments involved are not on level playing field - all with different mixture of cartridges, tonearms, turntables, phono stages, racks, interconnects, power cords, etc?

最近常進一些非常便宜的唱片。像今天就又撈了一大票http://www.my-hiend.com/vbb/attachme...4&d=1348373523
當然，便宜的結果是唱片的情況相對的差些。怎麼辦呢？洗的時候加把勁兒就行了。雖然OkkiNokki的洗唱片機相當不錯，但是附的羊毛刷對付比較髒的唱片還是不行。還好，我以前買了這個 http://www.musicdirect.com/p-7281-mo...rush-mfsl.aspx

我猜台灣應該有類似的唱片刷。這個唱片刷真的可以刷的很乾淨。我先把清潔劑噴在唱片上，用這個唱片刷用力的刷一圈，再用羊毛刷塗一層清潔劑，最後用洗唱片機吸乾。
上次買到一套Belafonte at Carnegie Hall的唱片。應該是蠻早的版本，唱片蠻厚重的，應該是老人家清家裡丟出來的。上次用羊毛刷洗刷完，唱片聽起來還是有點髒。這次用唱片刷再洗一次。哇！像換了張唱片似的，聽最後一面的Matilda，sound stage又寬又深，Belafonte的聲音當真是如臨現場般，難怪這套唱片是發燒唱片。雖然我對這套唱片裡的音樂沒什麼興趣，但是用2塊美元見識一下為什麼這套唱片那麼有名還是值得的。
