http://iservice.libertytimes.com.tw/...%9E&Slots=Live
London (Decca) Jubilee/Reference phono cartridge
By Martin Colloms Michael Fremer • Posted: Jun 20, 2012 • Published: Jun 1, 1995
http://www.stereophile.com/images/666cart.jpgLondon phono cartridges still carry the famous Decca name (even if only in parentheses), but they are now produced by John Wright, a precision engineer and ex-Decca employee. Wright (not to be confused with his IMF and more recent TDL loudspeaker-designer namesake) was assigned the rights in 1989 by Decca's Special Products division (footnote 1), when the company's new owner, Racal, decided that they didn't want to be involved in the manufacture of audio equipment. Wright worked for 20 years in Decca's phono-cartridge division, where he gained a wealth of experience. As well as manufacturing the current range of London cartridges, he is also responsible for servicing and overhauling older Decca models.

This is second in line of ultra-high end audio accessories made by Lee Dalby of DalbyAudioDesign. His D-7 preamplifier along with feet and record weight made the storm impact on the most demanding clan of AE in HK. Material like Lignum Vitae wood is no stranger to him and his designs show exquisite taste and knowledge of fine arts.
Stay tuned. Dalby Ebony feet and record weight are coming soon to Mono & Stereo HQ for most anticipated rendezvous.

Origin Live Conqueror MK3c Tonearm
In the spring of 2011 I wrote a review of the excellent Origin Live Calypso turntable with the equally striking Encounter MK3C Tonearm. I spent a good number of months with both products and was thoroughly impressed with what I heard – so much so that after the review I asked Origin Live’s principle owner and designer Mark Baker if I could set up the combination for The Inner Ear's editor Ernie Fisher for an extended run of additional listening.
As the year reached its end, I contacted Mark about sending back the demo table and arm. However, after a brief conversation, rather than returning the whole kit, Mark suggested we up the ante and offered to send an upgraded tonearm to be paired with the same Calypso table. His recommendation was the Conqueror MK3C.
