Phil Collins' recent Take A Look At Me Now retrospective campaign was a huge success which inspired a critical re-evaluation of his back catalog as several of his albums returned to the charts. Now he turns his attention to the biggest tracks throughout his career with the release of The Singles collection.
The Singles charts Collins' entire solo career from his smash hit 1981 debut "In The Air Tonight" to the title track from his most recent studio album, 2010's Going Back. It encompasses seven US #1's ("Against All Odds (Take A Look At Me Now)," "Sussudio," "One More Night," "Separate Lives," "A Groovy Kind of Love," "Two Hearts," and "Another Day In Paradise") plus a further seven Top 10 hits ("You Can't Hurry Love," "Easy Lover" with Philip Bailey, "Don't Lose My Number," "Take Me Home," "I Wish It Would Rain Down," "Something Happened On The Way To Heaven," and "Do You Remember?"). It also includes numerous other highlights from his story so far, such as "You'll Be In My Heart" which won an Oscar for Best Original Song after featuring in the Disney film Tarzan.
As with the Take A Look At Me Now campaign, the album mastering process has been overseen by Nick Davis who earned a Grammy nomination for Best Surround Sound album for his work on the Genesis 1970-1975 box set. Davis has also worked on all of the Genesis retrospective reissues.

After two decades there's finally the sequel to the blockbuster hit of 1996's Independence Day. Directed by Roland Emmerich and much of the original 1996 cast including Jeff Goldblum as David Levinson/The MIT computer expert, Bill Pullman as Thomas J. Whitmore/The 42nd Presidentand Vivica A. Fox as Jasmine Dubrow-Hiller star in this disaster science fiction-action film.
After the events of 20 years ago, America has taken and improved alien technology for their military defense not only on earth but also on the moon. Yet the aliens also have improved and are attacking the planet with a new mothership the size of the Atlantic Ocean. What follows is a spectacular fight in the desert at a superfast pace as human race defends the Earth. The movie won the CinemaCon, USA 2016 award.
Music score is composed by Thomas Wander, who has won BMI Film Music Awards in 2008 for his score in 10,000 BC, in 2010 for his score in the movie2012 and in 2014 for the score to White House Down, and Harold Kloser. Also featured are great tracks by Kid Bloom performing "Electric U" and the excellent cover of "Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down)" performed by Annie Trousseau originally recorded by Cher in 1966.

he Secret Life of Pets is a 2016 American 3D computer-animated buddy adventure comedy film. It is directed by Chris Renaud and Yarrow Cheney (Despicable Me 1&2)and written by Brian Lynch, Cinco Paul and Ken Daurio. The film stars American comedians Louis C.K. (terrier Max) and Kevin Hart (white rabbit Snowball) as voice actors. The film tells the story about Max's quiet life in his Manhattan apartment, which is disrupted when his owner Katie adopts a stray dog Duke. What follows is a hilarious rollercoaster of events in the sewers of Manhattan, a love interest and friendship.
The Secret Life of Pets premiered at the Annecy International Animated Film Festival on June 16, 2016. Upon release, it received positive critical reviews and became the highest grossing non-Disney original animated film of all time.
The film's score was composed by French film composer Alexandre Desplat, who has won an Academy Award for his score to the film The Grand Budapest Hotel. Desplat is also well known for his scores for the films Harry Potter the Deathly Hallows (part 1 [MOVATM040] & part 2 [MOVATM041]),Godzilla [MOVLP1149], Argo and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.

Black Swan is a 2010 American psychological thriller film directed by Darren Aronofsky and starring Natalie Portman, Vincent Cassel, Mila Kunis and Winona Ryder. The plot revolves around a production of Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake ballet by a prestigious New York City company. Usually described as a psychological thriller, Black Swan can be also interpreted as a metaphor for achieving artistic perfection, with all the psychological and physical challenges one might encounter.
The original score for the film was composed by Clint Mansell, an English musician, composer, and former lead singer of the band Pop Will Eat Itself. Mansell was introduced to film scoring when director Darren Aronofsky hired him to score his debut film, Pi. Ever since Mansell wrote the score for many of Aronofsky's films. Notable film scores include Pi, The Fountain, Moon, Smokin' Aces, Requiem for a Dream, The Wrestler, Doom, Black Swan, and High-Rise.
