感謝小葉與小高兄的幫忙,今晚我再照幾張照片並說明一下.
硬碟寄回去有點小麻煩,現在Rip的環境(壁插,電源線,墊材,線材)比之前一開始的環境較好,所以乾脆重新再來吧.只是我沒有備份可重新restore,不知是否有網兄有備份硬碟可借我重新restore試看看.(小弟會小心使用的,請放心)
應該沒有人用過該功能吧?上MY HIEND這麼久了,也沒什麼貢獻,如果借得到備份硬碟且OK的話,小弟再上來報告整個過程.
restore資料會都不見喔.....真的要做小高可以做
如果懷疑硬碟有問題,有沒有可能自己換一顆

若您的Olive 4HD 還能運作, 有可能是存Rip資料的Table 毀損, 建議您先買一顆外接硬碟
來做備份. 若有辦法備出資料, 熟Unix 及資料庫修復的電腦高手, 或許能幫您救回之前Rip
下來的檔案.
若您的狀況是連Olive 4HD都無法啟動, 可能是內部作業系統都毀損, 也建議您保留原硬碟,
請代理安裝新硬碟再做Restore, 或許也還有機會救回資料.

我的狀況是前者,我也認為可能只是file system (or mapping table)損毀而已,所以才徵求備份硬碟restore,然後再重新Rip我的CD.
這次要謹慎一點,環境也比之前好了,應該Rip後的quality會好一點.
另請教,從4HD備份出來的資料,可以分辨出每一張專輯的WAV檔嗎?謝謝!!
不行，是特殊的壓縮檔呀.....
.tar 是Unix 的壓縮備份格式, 應該是受限於精簡型Linux 的檔案系統寫入能力, 這些tar file
被以2G為單位分割, 找有Unix 經驗的MIS, 應該能夠幫您還原.
不過若Rip為WAV, TAG 資訊是存在SQLite Table, 若Rip 為其它格式Tag 會一並存入檔案中.
印象中自行Rip的檔案是以CD ID 分目錄(如CD_d20dd30e), 由網路Import 進去的則保留原命名, 您可能無法直接由目錄名稱判斷, 需進去目錄內看檔案命名

There is no problem to play CD. If you import CD, it will hold on "100%" message box and can not finish it.

I guess the problem is the mapping table (or the file system) is broken therefore 4HD can not get the information of HDD.
My questions are
1. Any idea about the problem?
2. If I restore my 4HD, will it become normal status? (If I can accept to lose my Rip data.)
3. The other problem is I do not backup it. But your agent in Taiwan would like to help me on this. Thanks their help.

it seems like the connection to the music library is somehow corrupted. The drive seems fine though since the time is still coming up and all the details about the stored size.
I would want you to do a USB-Software-Update and see if this helps solving this problem.
Please follow these steps in order to launch a software update:
1. Format a usb drive to Fat32. If your computer doesn't support this format please use one of the following software:

5. Navigate within the menu to "Settings" -> "System Services" -> "Software Update"
6. Choose the Option "USB". This launches the software update. A status screen comes up. Once the system reboots automatically and shows the black Olive screen your system is successfully updated and ready to use again.

Run in了兩週左右,聲音真的改善許多,形體跟活生感比原來好許多,聲音也的確比
較凝聚.細節多許多,人聲情感也更動人呢.
不過這條線的確要run in一些時間,要有耐心喔.
另8850168兄 雖然這條線耐高溫到80度C, 不過我記得硬碟上方溫度蠻高的,
最好不要纏繞在其上方較好.

請問一下，用Olive 2當Player是ok的嗎？可想外接NAS讀音樂檔，感覺比較省錢，不然4HD一台要十萬好貴，買不下手

不知道有人有相同的狀況嗎?
若你Rip一張CD(用FLAC格式),然後你delete它,再重新Rip一次,這次改為設定WAV格式,結果它還是會自動encode成FLAC格式.
二月剛拿到Olive 4HD時原廠預設是FLAC,後來發現後就改成wav uncompressed.
好像沒想過Morrislee提的這個問題,不知在Olive 4HD中如何看 encode 是 wav
或 flac呢?
最近使用的一些心得:
有一片george winston的cd，是資料庫沒資料的
我當時忙
只打了一半的資訊
後來過幾天要補時
竟然補齊了
可能有人補上了
這是一件好事
另外一件不好的
原本選好的cd封面
可能有人更新資料了
竟然把我選的封面資料換了
希望廠家能封鎖這個自動換cd封面的功能
畢竟每個國家出的cd封面不見得相同
另外分享一個可能用家巳經知道的
編輯整張唱片而非個別的單曲時
可以一次性的改掉performer(即artist)這個選項
此外
我發現google的圖片選項
對找cd封面很有幫助
目前最困擾的是大陸和台灣一半以上的專輯
album和artist都跳出亂碼
只能用封面(album artwork)去找
大致都會落在y開頭的cd和國語開頭的專輯之間
Olive 4HD目前搭配weiss DAC202使用, 聲音表現提升爆錶!:P
