外套的狀況還不錯，右邊的唱片有點髒，要洗一洗。左邊的看起來好像狀況還不錯（片子蠻重的），左邊是一套兩張（我只拿了一張，沒仔細看）。得再回去一趟（不過，反正還有一堆小孩的舊衣服要捐）。
唱盤唱頭唱臂唱放確實都很重要, 這也是 LP 又好玩又難搞的主因.
音質和增益之外唱放訊燥比也很重要.
以中低輸出 (0.1mv ~ 0.6 mv) 的唱頭而言 (絕大多數的高級唱頭在這範圍), 增益在 65db 左右適用性最高, 太高可能會 Overload 前級 或 A/D Converter. 可調的是不錯的選擇
我最近用
- EAR 834P + Bent Audio MU Transformer (20db or 10X), > 70db
- Jeff Rowland Cadence, 64db/74db 可調
轉錄 LP, 70db 以上配 0.4mv左右的 Lyra Skala 或 Linn Akiva 或 Benz LP/2, 就偶爾有 Overload A/D Converter 的問題, 配 0.1mv 的 Linn Troika 剛剛好.
再來, 唱放的 Loading 又是一個課題, 可調的比較理想. Rowland 是 4 段可調, Bent Audio MU Transformer 透過外接的並聯電阻, 基本上 0 ~ 470 Ohm 無限可調.
附記1: 我用 Lynx L22 soundcard A/D converter, 錄音軟體是 Samplitude 10.4, 相當滿意, 有沒有 Overload 在 Samplitude 很容易看出來
附記2: EAR 834P 真是經典, 我的電容電阻跟 RCA 端子都改了, 加上 NOS Tubes 跟 MU Transformer 對我來講已經是神品, 我個人喜歡它多於 Rowland Cadence. 架上的令一台唱放是 Tom Evans Groove+, 約略的印像是比 Cadence 好, 跟 834P 比則是各有千秋.

我其實有兩台改過的 834P, 現在用的是 Steve Huntley at Great Northern Sound 改的, 二手入手前就改好.

基本上所有電容都換成 Black gate, 所有電阻都改成 Caddock, RCA 端子改成 Cardas, 變壓器移了位置. 我用了 telefunken 的 NOS tubes, 再加上蠻有名的 Bent Audio MU Step Up Transformer
感覺上就是"好聽", 細節夠 甜美 平順, 音場 高低頻樣樣不缺, 空氣感跟溫潤感絕對上乘. 驚訝的是訊燥比(約-70db) 比 Rowland Cadence(-66db) 還好, 接近 Tom Evans Groove+(-72db) 的水準. 訊燥比在 Samplitude 開始錄音但唱頭沒放下的時候可以很清楚看到. Tom Evans 最自豪的就是 Lithos 7 供電的安靜度.
個人認為 834P 是管機鬼才 Tim de Paravicini 經典而簡單的設計, 簡單可能是好聲的主因. 原則上我相信簡單線路少量原件有傳真上的優勢, 所謂多隻香爐多隻鬼, 老美說 Less is More.

是上一代大師 Peter Walker 的經典復刻版, 我買來就先請認識的 F 先生 (小有名氣的管機設計師) 給換了 Black Gate 等等元件再加 NOS Tubes 才聽, 聽了大大搖頭, 搖的是 High End 六十年來真的有進步嗎? 傳奇故事還有後續: QUAD 幾年前請 Tim de Paravicini 根據 Walker QUAD II 的精神設計了高功率的 QUAD II Eighty mono blocks. Tim de Paravicini 的才華可見一般. Classic II 幾年沒用 (管機跟小孩不相容), 也許該接上玩玩.
附記1: 我先買的另一台 834P 是新貨請 F 先生改的, 他只換了老饕級的 tube coupling 電容和加強機身結構避震就說夠了. 後來手癢進了 Great Northern Sound 改的, 感覺比較燒, 就一直接著用, 沒有認真比較過. 其實我也沒聽過原廠未改的 834P, 說亂玩也是實情 :-)
附記2: 忍不住要提, 我的主系統用的是 QUAD ESL 2905, 是 QUAD ESL-57 和 ESL-63 最新一代的傳承. 對我跟音響店老闆 B 先生(他家的主系統也用這個)而言, 也是屬於"大搖其頭“等級的產品. 當然這只是個人聽感. 上個禮拜該死的 B 先生跟我說 F 先生改的 2905 很成功, 看來我又要撩下去了.

這應該是MSG的第一張專輯（有錯請指正）。會拿出這張唱片來聽是想因為我在試試看手邊的電源線（都很便宜啦！），插在後級上想看那條高音會飆，那條低音不夠清楚:):) 現在比起來好像是Vovox的Initio電源線最沒缺點，但是好像聲音單薄了點。團購的那兩條Silent Wire的AC5最好，可是我只有兩條，插在前級和DAC就沒了。另外還有幾條Wireworld，Kimber，和一條沒名字的（大提琴有點糊）。喔！請不要推薦我買什麼電源線，咱家近來阮囊羞澀(blush)(blush)

唯一的問題是買主要到加州的Sacramento去拿！離舊金山大概120英哩。我猜裡面大概不會有什麼天價片（這個賣家賣很久了，應該是蠻知道行情的），不過如果願意賭一把......:D:D
最好是我附近的店把它標下來, 我可以付零售價慢慢挑.

這個品牌的Laser黑膠唱機起碼是第四代以上的了。早在上世紀八十年代後期就生產的了。當年的售價好像還不到港幣二十萬元。代理也好像是雅典吧。
鐳射光頭用三個去拾音的。但也聲明遇到跳缐的唱片還是會跳缐的！
這東西居然還沒消失.................也算厲害！
Linn Troika
Introduced 1986, 當時 Linn 的旗艦唱頭
幾個月前收了一個 Sound Smith (USA) Retip (全新) 的, 一聽驚艷.
到現在一共收了三個, 除了 Sound Smith Retip 之外, 一個是原廠未改,
一個是英國 Expert Strylus Retip (2011 二月 Retip, 極新)
Sound Smith 細節多, 溫潤如管機, 音場寬廣, 低頻驚人, 讓人覺得聽 LP 真是幸福.
Expert Stylus 保有 Sound Smith 絕大部份優點, 聲音較中性, 透明度更高, 速度快, 循軌似乎更上ㄧ層樓.
這兩天比較 Expert Stylus Troika 跟 Lyra Skala, 整體明顯較喜歡 Troika. 唯 Skala 似乎在高頻的甜度略勝.
原廠未改的那個還沒聽, 實在沒時間 :-)

終於把第二個 LP 系統裝好了
Linn LP12 + Ekos 2 Tonearm + Lingo 2 + Carbon Fiber sub-chassis + Linn T-Kable
當初買來聽了幾天之後就收了好幾年
一直的想法是弄一個難搞的經典(或是經典的難搞) 唱盤來玩個夠
我的朋友 (是 Linn 經銷店) 稱它是 British Royal Pain, 大約是說 "皇家級的難搞".
唱頭是 Lyra Argo
唱放是 Jeff Rowland Cadence
剛弄好, 聽了兩張唱片, 其實真的是不錯聽.
還沒仔細跟參考盤 Brinkmann LaGrange 比較
大略的印象是細節稍微少一些, 低頻下潛少一些也鬆一些.
我換的 Carbon Fiber sub-chassis, 解決 LP 12 最被垢病的剛性問題, 據說音像會比較凝聚, 細節也會比較好, 不過有人說這就失去 LP12 原有的味道.
我覺得蠻好聽的, 也蠻漂亮的.

誠心建議，請將Target架的承板去掉。可將Linn12的底板也去掉直接在Target架的支撐架上面。這樣更能方便調整。而且聲音更能放開！Target架是尊為Linn12而設計製造。引用:
