BDR LM 系列的由來
LM = Lee Ming (BDR臺灣代理商張黎民先生的名字)
上瑞早在2005年就引進美國BDR的產品，當時張老師已經非常熟悉BDR，因為瑞典Marten喇叭的腳墊就是使用BDR的產品。在今年稍早，張老師請BDR設計德國ASR擴大機的底座。BDR覺得這主意非常好，便開始設計，然而僅將SL系列加厚是不可行的，因為其最大的厚度只有8mm，因此BDR開始重新設計結構，並使用從來未使用過的材質，在今年8月音響展上首次亮相。
然而，BDR總覺得雖然這個底座的表現已經非常好了，應該還可以更好，因此這幾個月不斷的研發，試著找出最好的結構與形狀，LM系列終於正式誕生。與之前BDR簽名版不同地方在於簽名版基本上是讓器材不受震動的影響，而LM系列則是極有效率的消除震動。這也是BDR能以較低成本得到改善表現的原因。過去數十年BDR層嘗試過不同的複合材質都沒辦法達到更好效果。
LM的命名，毫無疑問地，獻給了激勵這個產品誕生的Lee Ming 先生。
The History of the LM Series of products:
Earlier this year our distributor in Taiwan, Lee-Ming Chang of Sound Ray Electronics, Ltd. suggested that we build chassis for ASR amplifiers, which he also distributes. Lee-Ming first became familiar with our products as used on the Marten Design speakers, and has been representing BDR since 2005.
Always one to think a moment of insanity is a good idea, we gave the chassis a try. Simply making a thicker version of the SL Series would not be practical due to the thickness specified [8mm]. We therefore rethought the laminate design and came up with something completely different, with materials we had never used before. We finished the chassis just in time for a show, and tested only after shipment.
It turned out to be good. Very good. But it could be better.
So after several months of experimentation with laminates and shapes, we are proud to introduce the LM Series of products. In contrast to our previous Signature Series, which were essentially as impervious to vibration as possible, the LM Series dissipates vibration extremely efficiently. This is how we have achieved improved performance at a lower cost. We have tried this avenue previously a number of times going back over a decade, but we were unable to find the combination of materials that worked.
Regarding the name, we had designated the panels during testing as LM panels, so we would not confuse them with other pieces. When we realized just how good these parts would be, there was no question we would name them after Lee-Ming, the man who inspired them.

The Disc
USD 30/個、尺寸：直徑1.5"
Disc是LM系列最佳的入門款產品，Disc是圓形的，且一邊有小凹洞，可與Pyramid角錐一起使用。適合小、輕的器材使用。

The Disc is an excellent entry level piece for the LM Series of products. The Discs are round and have a dimple on one side only, designed to match the tip of the Pyramid Cones. They are the most basic element in the LM Series of products, and may be the optimal part for smaller or lighter components.
The Pillows
Pillows的形狀有點難以描述，有些圓形但是有角的。我們發現，基本上，越重的器材使用大一點的Pillows會較好。我們也發現如果是機械式的器材，如轉盤或黑膠唱盤，也需要使用大一點的Pillows會較好。喇叭因為單體的振動也是機械式的器材的一種。我們希望能建立一個資料庫給大家參考使用的標準，但一切還是以系統上最佳的表現為依歸。

The Pillows are a shaped part that are difficult to describe: somewhat rounded, but with corners. We have found, basically, that the heavier the component the larger the Pillow is preferred. We have also found that a mechanical component, such as a transport or turntable, prefers a larger Pillow. We will include speakers as a mechanical component, due to the movement of the drivers, for this application. We hope to build a database for reference, although the final determination is always what gives the best performance in the system in question.

Inverse Curve
Inverse Curve使由一個固定尺寸的長方形，然後將角進行圓弧畫，每邊並進行內凹的弧形處理。這樣的設計使得其放入有受限制的空間。Inverse Curve一般可直接放在現有的架子上，也可與Discs、Pillows或其他的BDR產品一起使用。Inverse Curve有許多尺寸可供一般的器材與喇叭使用，

The Inverse Curve is generated by taking given dimensions, rounding the corners and curving the sides inward. Accordingly, this design can fit into a constrained space. The Inverse Curve is generally placed directly on the existing shelf material, perhaps with Discs, Pillows or other material underneath, and building up with BDR products as desired. We have sizes available for many common component and speaker sizes.
The Curve
Curve 剛好與Inverse Curve相反，四邊是向外的弧形，這樣會有最大的BDR使用面積。

We have NO plans to discontinue or change the Pyramid Cones in the foreseeable future. The pricing of the Cones is given below and has not changed. All other products are subject to review.

昨個下午剛入手BDR 1.5 LM Discs A，

今天大年初一，外面鞭炮聲此起彼落
先把門關起來，初步聽感大致如下：
第一印象~音像變大了、音場也變較深一點，
定位也較準確； :O
再來聲音密度提高了。:)
在我的系統聲音量感只比原先稍微大一點點；
但最重要的是低音超正點、束結、不拖泥帶水！:D
果然是BDR最好、最經濟的產品。8)
原來上面的貼紙是有玄機的

最近用各種尺寸LM Pillow墊在Bladeliu Embla腳座下的心得：
低頻紮實有力，高頻延伸柔順，中頻清晰具形體感，尺寸越大效果越明顯，
個人很喜歡小顆1.8"的聲音，大顆的高頻柔順過多較不習慣
BDR每個型號的聲音確實有明顯的不同...

墊在G1000腳架BDR角錐Mk4底下，
MP4聲音較細薄冷硬，低頻延伸比較短促，突顯低頻的紮實與Q度；
Pillow聲音較厚實溫暖，低頻延伸、密度重量感、形體感、空氣感較佳
