Peterborough, Ontario April 4th, 2012— Bryston LTD, builders of the world’s finest audio electronics and celebrating 50 years in 2012, has announced the introduction of the B-135 SST² integrated amplifier, replacement for the company’s legendary B-100 model that has been available in the Bryston lineup for over 7 years. The new B-135 SST² delivers 135 watts per channel into 8-Ohms and employs Bryston’s most advanced analog circuitry in the preamp section, providing audio aficionados with an ultimate performance solution in a compact chassis. The B-135 SST² adds features and performance while retaining the same MSRP as the B-100—$4695 in its base configuration. Customers can choose to add the optional onboard DAC for an additional $1395 and the optional moving magnet phono stage for an additional $600. The Bryston B-135 SST² is expected to ship to authorized dealers in May, 2012.

The Bryston B-135 SST² includes provisions for 7 high level inputs, a pass-through feature (typically for home theater applications), one tape loop and a pre-out/main-in feature. A front panel headphone jack is standard and a full featured remote control is optional. Exceptional performance is derived from the use of three completely independent custom torodial power supplies engineered to prevent any possibility of channel to channel cross talk, interference or interaction between digital and analog sections. Bryston’s proprietary ultra-linear input buffer results in the lowest possible noise floor and miniscule distortion levels.

The B-135’s pass-through feature and pre-out/main-in connectors allow for complete separation of the preamplifier and power amplifier sections, making multi-channel system integration quick and easy. Gold plated five-way speaker binding posts and gold plated RCA/SPDIF input and output connectors provide long-term trouble-free connections. “The B-135 SST² delivers the performance of separate amplifier and preamplifier combinations from a single, handsome compact chassis,” explained Bryston’s James Tanner. Sonically, the B-135 is the finest integrated amplifier ever offered by Bryston and it is versatile as well—able to address the needs of any audiophile listener with completely separate amp and preamp sections as well as an optional DAC and phono stage. The B-135 is the complete package,” Tanner added.
