Eine der wenigen Frauen, die führend in der HiFi-Branche tätig sind, geht von Bord: Dorothee Thomanek (Foto) hat ihre Anteile an der ELAC GmbH verkauft und scheidet aus dem Unternehmen aus. Auch ihr Mann, Dr. Franz Thomanek, wird ELAC verlassen, aber mit seiner „ELAC Technische Software GmbH“ (ETS) dem Lautsprecherhersteller auch weiterhin beratend zur Verfügung stehen. Die internationale Investorengruppe „Global Legend“ übernimmt nun zwei Drittel der Gesellschafteranteile, Wolfgang John hält wie bisher das restliche Drittel – und wird alleiniger Geschäftsführer. Technischer Leiter bleibt Thomas Werner. Zwischen den bisherigen Geschäftsführern Dorothee Thomanek und Wolfgang John war es zu Meinungsverschiedenheiten über die künftige Ausrichtung des Unternehmens gekommen. Strategisches Ziel ist nun, ELAC als Premium-Marke weltweit weiterzuentwickeln und neue Märkte in Süd- und Nordamerika zu erschließen.
