擁有1千3百萬藏書、92萬期刊與報紙、5千7百萬專利品及3百萬唱片錄音的大英圖書館 (British Library) 採用Harbeth M20、M30與M40做為他們的新大樓的撥放揚聲器。

每一間試聽室都以頂尖的工程師來命名：包括 Alan Blumlein (立體聲發明者), Thomas Edison, 及 Alec Reeves (發明PCM, Pulse Code Modulation的主要關鍵人物，引發數位聲音的革命)

大英圖書館的營運經理Nigel Bewley表示，選擇Harbeth主要的原因是Harbeth可以忠實呈現錄音的本質而不被扭曲。

We chose Harbeth", explains operations manager Nigel Bewley, "because we deliberately didn't want speakers which would 'flatter' the sound. It is vital, in the work we do, to hear the clicks, crackles and other artifacts of a recording."

新的試聽室將用來收集國家的各式錄音。
